Jack Astro Production - Ceres Titlecard

This is the title card for my student film titled: Jack Astro. This design was made by fellow team member Ericka Palangan. You can find the film & all other socials of the team on the official Jack Astro Instagram page.
For Cere's title card I took inspiration from Yoji Shinkawa's work on the Metal Gear Solid series cover art.
The line art was initially drawn in black & duplicated. The duplicated layer was alpha-locked & coloured using the gradient tool & detailed with the dotted texture. The duplicated layer was scaled up to be visible over top the line art & was set to overlay.

Building upon the previous version, with line art set to modulo-shift I changed to background to black changing the look of the piece.

I combined the two modulo-shift pieces by painting white onto the black background.

This was another attempt at combining the two modulo-shift pieces. This time I painted over the black background with the gradient tool followed up by a brush tool to create this crystal like effect.
