Marine Cathedral

This scene is yet again made for a school project, everything was made within 4 weeks, a tough time limit but I achieved some pretty cool results anyway.
The video version of all scenes will be on it's way soon-ish.
The whole cathedral is supposed to recreate the look & feel of being underwater, hence the name 'Marine Cathedral.'

The textures of this scene are very monotone but not without purpose, one of the inspirations for the scene is a basalt church in Iceland that is built such that the church itself becomes a canvas for light.

One of the first lighting passes, with much struggle I got light to pass through the window. The lighting was designed so that it creates the illusion of being underwater, hence the waviness of the floor textures.
